RAW tech week underway

With our debut of RAW just around the corner, we thought it was a good time to clue our wonderful fans in on what has been happening on our side. While our audience has been excitedly awaiting our season’s premiere tomorrow night, Above and Beyond Dance cast and crew have been merging together– hauling aerial apparatus, bags of costumes, and boxes of supplies from our base in Brooklyn to our new venue on the Upper West Side of Manhattan (Manhattan Movement & Arts Center). Tech rehearsals started on Monday, and we have been busily setting lighting and sound cues with our fantastic technical/design staff. It is thrilling to see our show that started as an undefined concept many months ago burst onto the stage. We anticipate RAW to be one of our best seasons yet. We would love for you all to come on opening night, when ABD will present its audience with extra goodies at a reception—a silent auction, wine and hors d’oeuvres. We can’t wait to see you all there.
