The Premiere of RAW

This weekend Above and Beyond Dance proudly premiered its performance of RAW to great success. RAW kicked off with an opening night reception on Thursday, which included a silent auction and hors d’ oeuvres. Friends, family, dance enthusiasts, and performers alike enjoyed an evening of great wine, snacks, and company. Donations from the reception helped to cover the company’s expenses for the new production. Throughout the weekend, our audience was able to bid on some fantastic items that were generously donated by many wonderful Above and Beyond Dance supporters. The season debuted Thursday night and concluded on Sunday. Everyone in the ABD family would like to thank those who came out to support us this weekend. Keep an eye out in the upcoming weeks for more pictures and press from RAW. We hope to see you for our upcoming showcase performances in November and December.

About Sarah Bellman

Sarah Bellman is a junior at New York University studying Dramatic Literature and Journalism. She is currently a marketing and venue partner intern at Flavorpill. In the past, she has interned at the start-up company We Work NYC, where she honed both her creative and business skills. Sarah has worked as an activist/fundraiser for both Grassroots Campaigns and New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG), where she learned how to be both a good leader and communicator. Having spent 12 years of her life as both a Ballet and Modern dancer, Sarah is proud to intern at such a unique and talented dance company. Originally from Los Angeles, California, Sarah now happily calls New York City home.
