Above and Beyond Dance was thrilled to participate in this year’s NYC Aerial Dance Festival. Julie Ludwick (Curator, Artistic Director of Fly by Night Dance Theater) assembled a remarkable program featuring diverse approaches to aerial dance on a variety of apparatus. We performed at two venues over the course of three nights. LaGuardia Performing Arts Center boasted a beautiful proscenium stage in a spacious theater. And, it was a pleasure to return to Manhattan Movement & Arts Center for the remaining performances. It was truly an honor to be included, and it was a joy to watch my colleagues in action.
